Ex-Southern/CNO&TP 6143 is out on its first weekend of runs after being repainted. The railroad runs on a former spur to the Stone Mountain Granite Company that connected to the Georgia Railroad.
Ex-Southern FP7 6143 brings the entire in-service passenger fleet to a stop in front of the Civil War-era jail turned railroad shop. Those numberboards are a nice homage to the unit's heritage.
